Where does my donation go?

All gifts received support the key initiatives of the Collingwood Football Club. As a donor, you can choose where your gift will be directed or decide to leave the gift unrestricted so the club can allocate your support toward priority areas.

All gifts are made through the Collingwood Football Club Foundation on behalf of the club and the Forever Campaign.

Can I include a gift to the club in my Will?

Yes. There are many ways in which a gift in your Will can help Collingwood into the future.

Can I claim a tax deduction for my gift?

Yes. All donations to the Collingwood Forever Giving Program of $2 or more are tax deductible through the Collingwood Football Club Foundation.

Will I receive a full tax deduction for my donation?

The Collingwood Football Club Foundation is a certified Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) and all gifts of $2 or more are fully tax deductible.

The only exception is a donation directed specifically to facilities and equipment projects. All donations directed to sports facilities and equipment projects must be verified through the ASF – the Australian Sport Foundation – the ASF applies a 5% fee on these donations.

Our representatives will ensure all donors giving to sports facilities and equipment projects are aware that they receive a 95% tax deduction.

Will I receive a receipt for my gift?

Yes. We provide all donors with receipts for their gifts within 1-3 business days. If you have made a gift online, you will receive your receipt via email once payment has been approved. If you have chosen to make a recurring monthly gift, you will receive a receipt at the end of the financial year.

I would like to support Collingwood, but not necessarily financially. Are there other ways I can contribute?

Yes! Volunteering. We believe giving your time to volunteer and participate in our programs is just as important as making a financial gift.

I live outside Australia. Am I still able to donate?

Yes. Donations can be made using a credit card through the donations page. If you have any questions please call us on +61 3 8412 0000 or send an email HERE.

How can I make sure the intended program or activity receives my gift?

We are committed to the responsible management and oversight of all gifts that we receive.

The Collingwood Football Club Foundation helps the club to monitor how the club receives, tracks and applies gifts based on the wishes expressed by donors.

The Committee reports to CFC Board of Directors and donors on the overall management and administration of all philanthropic income at the club.

How can I keep up to date with the progress of the Forever Campaign?

We will update progress on the Campaign through this website and our newsletter.

How are gifts to the program invested and managed?

Annual Financial Reports and Community newsletters provide an overview of how donations are invested and managed.

How are gifts overseen and monitored?

The CFC Foundation reports to the CFC Board on the overall management and administration of philanthropic income at the club

The Foundation oversees the management of gifts including the management of endowments in perpetuity, expendable gifts and gifts received from externally managed trusts.
