Koori Program
The school provides a flexible, relationship-based learning environment for young people who have become disengaged from mainstream education.
With Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students making up almost 30 per cent of the school's community, the Koori Program plays a vital role in providing culturally safe support, mentoring and cultural connection.
Through dedicated First Nations staff, the school offers the Koori Hub within the program; a range of culturally enriching experiences to empower students to build confidence, strengthen their cultural identity and reach their full potential.
Collingwood's support helps the Pavilion School, Charles La Trobe and the Olympic Village Primary School create these pathways for young people to thrive both in and beyond the classroom, while reinforcing the importance of connection, belonging and commmunity.
