Collingwood Football Club is proud to once again field a team in the Robert Rose Foundation Victorian Wheelchair Football League (VWFL) in 2022.
Games this year will be held at The Boroondara Sports Complex & (MSAC) Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.
The team will be led by Ben Jankovski for the 2022 season, taking over the reigns from the late Brendan Stroud.
The Robert Rose Foundation is named in honour of former Magpie, Robert Rose. The son of Collingwood icon Bob Rose, Robert became a quadriplegic following a car accident in 1974.
The VWFL is designed to provide sporting opportunity for Victorians with a physical disability. Five AFL clubs will be represented in the 2021 season, with Collingwood, Hawthorn, Essendon, St Kilda and Richmond all fielding teams.
