Magpie Meals

The Collingwood Football Club is the first major supporter of Meals with Impact, and together we formed Magpie Meals, it’s a recipe of bringing together   Australia’s strongest sporting community, with our nation’s multicultural communities whilst adding a tonne of social impact. Magpies are Made by Many and so are Magpie Meals. 

Magpie Meals aims to give a fair go to women who often don’t have equal opportunities to work in Australia. It’s time to break down the barriers to increase opportunities for employment. Because investing in women, means investing in our mums, daughters, sisters, aunties & nieces, which benefits our whole community.

But this is more than a job…

Magpie Meals Social Enterprise cooks culturally appropriate meals that get distributed across Victoria to help feed people who are struggling with food insecurity and facing poverty due to the rising costs of living.  

Right now, about 1 in 6 adults experience food insecurity, with numbers rising. 

Magpie Meals will be part of the solution with your help. 

We believe in the power of ‘Made by Many’. 

Magpie Meals is funded through the CFC Community Foundation. We have provided jobs for 10 women in only six months and delivered over 8,500 meals to local communities. 

Magpie Meals are a great representation of how the Collingwood Magpie community is stronger together. With our 80,000+ members and a donation of the price of a pie at the “G”, we can defeat discrimination, we can build the foundations for equality and support those in need of a feed regardless of heritage, gender, religion, or colour of their skin. We are Magpie Meals, and they are Made By Many.
