Collingwood has launched an exciting new project with the Australian Federal Government to provide training and employment opportunities for disadvantaged people.
Our club aims to make a positive difference in our community and to help those who are doing it tough.
The project connects people in the club’s community programs to opportunities with training and employment groups and corporate organisations.
Our first group of participants recently completed two weeks of training held at the club and we were thrilled that all participants received employment offers in the construction industry.
Our next group begins in August and the club is seeking to partner with corporate organisations, businesses and employment groups as part of the project.
